Netsetup needs to monitor the customer’s application closely, so that they could make a good estimate on the production of the products. Meetings will be organized on a regular basis, where not only the technical development but also the “business development” will be discussed.

Netsetup is busy deciding how a big Insurance Company in the USA can help their customers from a “zero footprints” situation and combine them to a heavy application such as Progress/ADM2, which will be modernized by DWP, with an DWP/AJAX user interface. In the Netherlands, Netsetup is busy with the last fase for the Roundtable link, where developers can get a high productivity and quality by developing the new functionalities in the application. Version control, multidevelopment facilities, check-in/out are the techniques that were developed in close discussion with the customers.

Another development that Netsetup keeps a keen eye on is the Enterprise Service Bus market. Many customers of Netsetup really want to combine the existing Progress/DWP applications with another application and this will create an optimum chain that will be made available to them, where the diverse “Business Services” could be combined using ESB (Sonic).
