This one-day workshop introduces Progress AppServer to 4GL programmers.

By the end of the day the student will be able to install and configure Progress AppServer and develop 4GL client-side and server-side programs that connect to a stateless AppServer and pass data without a database connection on the client.

The student will be able to explain the differences, benefits and drawbacks of state-aware versus stateless AppServers. These skills are a prerequisite for the DWP Essentials Training
